Soft Top Question

I just got a soft top for my 4 door JK and put it on this weekend. I have a few questions...

1. I am getting a good anount of wind noise. Is that normal. The top doesnt sit completely flush in the front, and it seems to be scooping a little air, which makes the noise...Again, this could be normal...

2. Are all Mopar Soft Tops Sunrider Tops? How can I tell the difference?

Thanks

The steps regarding the front of the top that has the rope inside about how to seat it in the front plastic piece and then fold it over is a very important part of the assembly. I was extremely careful to get that part right. I think it mentions this in the assembly instructions. My top is pretty quiet, at least it was on my Sahara Unlimited. I have yet to try it out on my Sahara Unlimited Rubicon. That will happen probably within the next two months. When it was on the vehicle the seal between the windshield top and the soft top was pretty clean. The top was perfectly flat on the plastic piece that holds it up against the windshield seal.

The sunrider top has a mid position that is basically like taking the panels off of the freedom top. It opens above the front seat section and is able to be tied back in that position or opened fully and pushed back to the rear in the storage space.

I have a soft top on my JK. It is usually pretty quiet unless I am driving into some very strong winds. It can be a little annoying...thinking about getting a hard top.

if you have a 4dr soft-top its a sunrider. Take it to the dealer if your getting to much wind noise...there was a TSB for the header panel.
