Soft Top Removal...help!!!

Can anyone tell me if there is way to remove the soft top while the hardtop is on....my 08 sahara does not leak (crossed fingers) and I dont want to remove the hardtop...I would appreciate the help

i doubt it.. without removing the hard top... unless you cut the soft top into pieces..

soft top removal

Yes you need to remove the hard top to remove the soft top. Thats what I had to do on my wifes jeep.

Could be, but I didn't think that an owner would be given two tops as part of the package by default.

I ASKED for both the hard top and soft top to be part of the package, and, since it was November 07 at the time, and the Wrangler was shown to me with a soft top on, I asked them to make the switch for me to the hard top, (and they did) and bring my soft top home for me (which they did), so I could put it on in the Spring (which I had them do, since I sold them back that piece-o-crap "Freedom Top.").

Soft Top

Thanks for the replies and yes, the soft top was shipped in tact with the hardtop on........I may just go and let the so called " leak professionals" at the dealer remove it so when the top leaks they can deal w it...
