Soft Top shopping

I am looing to get a soft top for my Wrangler Unlimited. So many brands and types. Mopar's are around $1800, others much cheaper. What is a great quality aftermarket option?
Thank you

Best top at a low price is OEM take-off premium top. $800 or so for one that's minimally used or brand new.

If not OEM look at the trektop NX

What are the differences between premium and standard soft top? Would a standard work well as a budget option if you run the hard top most of the year, or is it not worth it at all?

Are the Bestops as good as OEM?

Check Craigslist soft tops come up all the time.
Some people get dual top options then sell there soft tops. This is usually premium top with dual top option and you can luck out get one still in box. They can go anywhere from $400 to $1000
Good luck

The standard top is a Sunbrella exterior fabric. The premium top is a deeper black and a fabric that is more like a convertible top and is insulated.

I ended up purchasing the Offroad Heros top. Have yet to put it on as it is still winter here. I liked the option for different configurations.

First off, thank you all for your input. I hope to get to some point where I can assist others too. No one on Craig's list around here is selling anything like what I need, of course... I will keep looking.

Anyone have a Quadratec Quadratop type top? What do you think of the quality? Am I just splitting hairs at this point?
QuadraTop® Complete Soft Top with Tinted Windows in Black Diamond for 07-14 Jeep® Wrangler Unlimited JK 4 Door - Quadratec

I'll keep shopping and hopefully someone will want to sell one.

This might be a long shot but try talking to the details guys at your Jeep dealer.

They sold me a used JK top for $150. It was a take off on a used Rubicon with a busted rear zipper. Cost me $10 to get a new zipper slider put on the window, works fine now.

Only ask the guys in the detail shop who refurbish the trade in's.
DO NOT ask the service or sales clowns, they will burn you.

Another option might be a local wracking yard, find a totaled JKU with complete soft top. You'll need all the brackets and door surrounds, it's not just the top and frame you need.

How long did it take to get yours? I ordered the MultiTop last week and was told 2-4 weeks. From what I understand, that would be very quick for them.

By far the most common (and cost effective) options are:
1. Buying a new "take-off" factory top on Craigslist, the forum classifieds, etc.. People often buy Wranglers off the lot that come with dual tops...and they have no intention of ever using the soft top.
2. Buying a new Trektop NX online/from a vendor.

I did #2 first, got a great, great, great deal from Bestop outlet.com (or something like that), and never took it out of the box. Was on another forum talking about soft tops and how I really wanted a top that I could take with me when down. I got a PM from someone local who just got a brand new Rubi and wanted to straight up swap his never been used premium top (he ordered dual tops) for my still in the box Trektop NX.

Ummmm.....done! (I even threw in a $100 bucks so I didn't feel like I was ripping him off.)

It was pretty funny because I tried to explain to him all of the reasons why I didn't want the Trektop NX, and he was like...that is fine....those are the exact reasons why I DO want it.
