Soft top sun roof help

New to the forum. I am not sure if this question has already been answered or not, if so I apologize. I recently bought a 2013 Wrangler and LOVE flipping back the front part of my soft top roof to create a sunroof. The only downside is that the fabric that makes up the roof hangs down and hits me in the head while I drive. Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so what are your solutions to fix it? Thanks for your help!

you are not folding it correctly. I'll see if I can find a video for you to reference.

Basically you have to fold the sun rider fabric into a "W" that is laying on it's side with the points facing the rear of the Jeep.

Based on your profile picture, you have a 2-door, correct? You're supposed to fold the fabric in a "W" shape when you flip back the sunrinder. The fabric won't hang down into the cab when stored properly.

Doctor posted a video for a 4 door, which is a little different. This should answer your questions though. Look at the pictures in the second post.

Stupid noob Sunrider question

The owners manual is a little poor on the right way to fold it, but look on YouTube for the demo videos. I learned how to do everything the right way with a soft top there.

Hey guys, thanks. Yes it's a two door. Looks like a pretty simple solution. I appreciate your help.

Well this thread fixed my issue. Seems so obvious. I'm riding around thinking no way jeep designed it to hit me in the head.
