Soft top tearing*TINY*

Any ideas why my soft top is tearing along the front seam and how to fix it. Its very tiny but over time could get worse allowing rain in.
Could it be tension maybe? Ill take a picture and post it in a day or two.

FYI: My soft top is only a few months old but returning it is not a option as I bought it brand new but off ebay from another jeep owner, still in all its original packaging.

My brother in law says to use silicone over the tear or to patch it. He mentioned they sell a patch for this as it does happen.

Doesn't say what year your jeep is or what year the top is. Not enough info.

Easy. Take it to the dealer and have them replace it. It's a mopar part and both it and the jeep are new. They don't know you didn't buy it with the vehicle or from another dealer. That shouldn't matter anyway.

I'm not sure what the invoice has to do with anything. It's a mopar part still under warranty. It doesn't matter if it came with the vehicle or not as long as the top is in the warranty period still. The vehicle it's on has nothing to do with anything.
