soft top window question

I just got a new Wrangler Unlimited with a soft top. The side panels windows on my jeep are a single window where I notice that the rear side panel windows on other jeeps have a divider and appear to be two panels. Does anyone know why there is a difference in the rear side panel windows?

the 2 door appears to have two panels in the side window because the metal soft top arm goes diagonally across the window. It is still one panel. I guess they added a black strip so it would look better then a metal arm showing through. The 4 door arms fit below the window so theres no need for this

I know what you are talking about. I think that is just specific to a brand of top.
My Bestop has one full window.

The windows are not really divided to make it look better but when you get flutter in the window it is better to have a canvas piece rub along the bar rather than the winwow rub. The JKUs windows are different because of the design of the bows are different and there is no bar running beside the windows.
