Soft Top Won't Stay Together

Hi Everyone,

I'm not sure how best to describe this problem, but my soft top is broken and I'm hoping for some advice on how to fix it.

On the soft top, where on both sides it connects to itself by a hole going over a small rivet, it will no longer stay on. I can't tell what was keeping it together for the last three years, but putting the soft top up is a pain because it pops out, and putting it down is equally trouble.

I tried searching, but without knowing exactly what this part is called, I've just ended up in a bunch of random soft top threads.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Can you post any pics of the parts you are referring to?

What brand of top do you have?

Thanks for your replies! It doesn't appear to be the knuckle. I've uploaded two pics of the part I'm talking about here, hope this helps someone identify them for me. The top is the one that came from the Jeep dealer on day 1.
