Some questions about hard top and soft top

Been looking for a great deal on a 2007 - up 2 door hard top for so long that I think I'm just going to buy new. My question is what options are available to me, given my circumstances, other than dual top group.

I want hard top because I need the ability to lock the jeep when hunting, etc. But, we'll want the top off most of the summer, I could drive it to work sometimes, we would likely take it to the lake (no garage), and I'm worried about the rain. So, my question is what is available to help that.

I'm wondering if the two front freedom panels ride fine without hte back of the top and if there is any sort of soft enclosure that would allow me to maybe fold down the back seat and have a canvas cover over the back and up to the two freedom panels. Anything like that or any other ideas or do I need to buy the dual top option?

Welcome to the forum. Check out this link for the top options. Jeep Soft Tops & Jeep Soft Top Accessories - Quadratec
The freedom tops work great with the back off, keeps you out of direct sun. You can also try out the search function on this site or through google.

I just bought a 07 rubicon. My Tj had a soft top and a hard top. My new jeep only has the hardtop. I'll be looking for a soft soon. The hardtop is that freedom top and the front comes apart in two pieces. it's kinda cool but of course I'd prefer It totally
