Something nice happened today

Hey everyone,
On my way home today I came up on a blue YJ and I waved to him and with a shocked look on his face , he shot me a wave right back. This showed me that most YJ and TJ owners almost never expect a JK to wave at them. I hope that we can all start making this assumption a thing of the past.
To make my day even better, I passed a JK getting close to my home and he initiated the wave to me. I just wish every day could be like this, however I rarely get waves around here in Phoenix.

Oh boy, here we go again, me and my lowly JK, nobody waves to me...I never get return waves...just be happy and wave, initiate it, receive it and return it, doesn't matter. It is a jeep thing, you are both jeep owners...only we can understand it...and bear it...with a smile...any way you look at it.

Really? I've heard this, but I wave all the time. If they see me, I almost always get a wave back.

yeah it could just be an issue of most people not seeing the wave, because I know that many people drive with tunnel vision. But many jeep drivers just don't know about the wave. I wave at the Jeep, not always the driver.

I see a jeep, my hand or fingers raise up. Sometimes I pay attention, other times I don't... my hand still waves though.

If two jeepers wave to each other without looking... did the wave still occur? :P

This has been covered but I must say most JK's i pass wave. I get an equal (no return) from cj/tj's just as much. 7 out of 10 Wranglers I pass wave back regardless of model. There is one douche bag I pass regularly in some TJ with no mods that does not wave and he almost looks at me like im crazy. I want to smash into him in my other Jeep because I dont like the way he looks at me and it looks like he has a issue with life in general and I just dont like the man. Hes one of those people that you see and can tell he is just a bitter person in general. My life sucks but I dont go around showing it all the time, just some.

I wave at every wrangler I see in my JK, but it is very seldom that they wave back, I got lucky yesterday, and it just made my day. we are all Jeep Owners and it should not matter what year your wrangler is.
what I find interesting, that Jeeps always park next to Jeeps in a parking lot, I think it is soooo cool.
where I work it is a real big parking lot, and my friend and working partner says the other day, Karli look there are 2 jeeps parked right next to you, yeah it's a Jeep Thing

I got two waves today, 1 in the morning from some dudes in a TJ, and 1 this afternoon from an old dude in a JKU.

Ok. I'm guilty. I drop the missus off at the door and cruise the parking lot, looking for another Wrangler to park next to. If I don't find one, I put the front tires on the bump stop.

when i was driving my TJ for all those years I would have never thought that there would be a great divide between JK owners and everyone else.

it never occurred to me what model jeep someone was driving. I always waved regardless, and I still do. its sad to think that people only wave to other jeepers depending on what model they have

When I had my JK, I noticed the decline in waves from my first TJ. After trading my JK for another TJ, they have picked back up. I dont get but it really does exist.
