Sorry leveling question

Sorry leveling question. I scroll through tons of lift threads and my eyes are burning and just lost. I want to know what size of puck kit that completely gets rid of the rake and levels the jku? I don't care about price. I see everywhere about "budget boosts" I don't want to put some cheap crap on my jeep. What's the best quality leveling kit?

I'm having the sameproblem. I only want to level the front and not touch the rear. I installed the Daystar .75" front spacer. The ride is the same, but it still needs more to level it. So, you need at least 1" or maybe more. My ride is a 2015 Sahara Unlimited 4 door.

Don't think of budget boost a "cheap crap". No one here knowingly puts "cheap crap" on their jeeps.

It's a budget boost because they typically only come with spacers, no shocks. This is not in and of itself a bad thing.

It issue is not what is best. The issue is what are you going to do with your jeep? What performance are you trying to get? How big of tires? Heavy rock crawling? Just want it to make a jeep look like a jeep? One kit might be perfect for one person, but not another depending on needs and wants.

The TF gets a lot of play around here and what I'm looking at. Budget friendly, effective, allows 33" tires. Nice kit if you don't really want a lift, but might put heavy bumper and/or winch. Easy install yourself.

I installed the Teraflex 2" leveling kit on my 2015 Hard Rock 4dr and I am very happy with it and it's very easy to do except loosening and retorqueing the control arms, Some say ya need to do this and some say ya don't, I did jus to be sure it levels correctly but it does take some time the kit is very easy though, I also put Senergy 1.5" Hub centric wheel spacers and makes the jeep look taller and wider..

Teraflex Wrangler Leveling Kit 1155200 (07-16 Wrangler JK) - Free Shipping

This is a great reliable product. Adds 1 inch to the rear and 2 inches up front. If you are looking to not gain the rear inch just look for a 1 inch front spacer, several companies make them.
The teraflex budget boost is more expensive than this because it replaces your coils entirely.
I got this same kit and did not get the kit with the coil springs because the Teraflex tech told me the hard rock already had the taller springs but again I am very pleased with this set up for now and once I drive some warranty off I will look into a taller lift :}

I'll be installing 1" Teraflex pucks in the front this weekend. I still have young ones that struggle to get in and out in the rear, so I'm going to keep that stock height. Just raising the front an inch should level things out. My stock spring setup is 17/58. Stay tuned.

When deciding to reduce the amount of front rake on my JKUR with a front steel bumper and winch, the 1 1/2 spacer from TF did a perfect job. You might consider the 1" if not putting that weight on the front. Very pleased with the result, like you did not want to do a full lift, the ride is exactly the same as OEM.

The factory rake is supposed to be 1" but that will vary a little depending on the weight of aftermarket bumpers, winches, even the weight of a full tank of gas vs. almost empty.

Before I did mine, I measured from the garage floor to the edge of the plastic fenders directly over the centerline of each tire. I did this several times over the course of a week or so and verified that even though the measurements floated around a little, my jeep was generally about an inch lower over the front wheels than the back.

I ended up going with the Teraflex 1.5" leveling kit, which adds 2" at the front wheels and 1" at the rear. The Jeep now sits more or less level and is a little taller overall. I could have also just added 1" in the front and nothing in the rear if the objective was strictly to level it out.

Thanks for the info guys. I don't rock crawl I do a ton of remote logging roads and trails getting to fishing lakes here in northern ontario. I put the 275/65/18 dura tracs on before winter. I don't really want to upgrade them anytime soon. I plan on adding a winch bumper to the front. I don't want my jeep to look super lifted with baby tires. I also don't want to put huge wheel spacers but also don't want to look tall and tippy looking. I want to keep the factory feel cause it is a dd. So best looking setup 2" front with 1" in the back with 1/2-1" wheel spacers look best?

Mine pictured above is just the 1" in front with 255/75-17 duratracs (32"). Yours are 32 also so they would look very close to mine as far as fender gap is concerned. The full kit would make the gap a little larger
I too do a lot of logging/forest roads, creek crossings, etc... never had an issue with clearance or traction!

If you level it and then add a heavy winch bumper, you'll likely be right back where you started because of the extra weight on the front.

If it were me, I would do the bumper and winch first, in order to see how much additional squat it induces in the front end.

3/4" Daystar coil spring spacers in the front only. It has less than a 1/4" rake which suites me fine. When I fill up the tank and throw a couple of suitcases in the back it still doesn't motor boat down the road. I would rather have a little rake than sit bulldog at any time.

Depending on which stock springs you have, you could also replace your stockers with a set that's a number or two higher. You'll see take-offs everywhere, sometimes free (I gave mine away).
Synergy also makes slightly longer springs.

I've considered this route also, although it's a little pricier. My JKU has 17/59's on it now , so I had thought 10A front springs might gain me an inch or so, plus if there's a warranty issue the dealer would probably be none the wiser with factory part number tags on the springs.

Teraflex 1" front pucks installed yesterday.
Took me an hour and half. Started with passenger side. The issue was that jack stands were too high relative to my floor jack. Couldn't drop the axle enough and so there was a lot of back and forth and had to bring out the scissor jack too. haha. Rides the same. Perfectly level now, measured by distance of rock guards to the ground, front and back.

Looks good. Was there anything else you had to do, center steering wheel, etc.?
