Sound bar rattle

Does anyone else have this issue? Its not like some screws are loose it seems more like wrapping the bar in plastic trim was a terrible design. I dont really want to tear it apart and put dynamat in it but it sounds like crap, on an already crappy sounding audio system.

Is your Jeep under warranty? Maybe take it in and see what the stealership says...

Pack it with polyfil, it got rid of the rattle & helps the sound a bit. Upgrade the speakers while you got them out (Kickers 60 bucks a set) helps also.

I got some Infinity's in the garage as part of a trade on a sled, brand new. Got 1 of the 2 sets in my truck.

After I replaced the stock speakers with Polks I noticed a rattle. It turned out to be the light. If I put my hand on it it stops so it's either the lens of the housing. I plan to figure it out this weekend and will post then.

I think mine is the lack of bolt that holds the hard top down, since we have the soft top on now. I think Im gonna find some nuts to fit those and some nylon washers and put em back in see what happens from there.

Mine has done it since I drove ot off the lot. I wedged a piece of high density foam between the sound bar and hard top that shut it down for the most part. I will mess with it at somepoint..... allong with the buzzsaw noise under my drivers side of the dash.

My thought is to use some clear silicone sealant.
