@ 2013bluerubi,

I misunderstood what you were saying. When I replied I thought you were just wanting to keep you 730 and redo the rest of your system.

Like you probably already know, I think the JL cleansweep only works when your running the cleaned up sound to an amp. But honestly, they're not going to tone down the Alpine premium sound system
If they can make it sound better otherwise. Most factory premium sound systems just can't handle the power it takes to have good sound quality. My old Infinity (in my 2dr) claimed to be "378" watts... Yeah, that's not rms, that's probably just the max wattage. So your alpine system is probably like that... But I'm in the dark really. I don't know anything about that system.

In an email from Jeep, they stated that it was really only 6 channels being pushed at 46 watts each....peak....at 2 ohms.

That isn't very good at all.

But Kicker said 4 ohms on the drivers and 1 ohms on the sub. So who knows....

I just replaced all of my speakers and subwoofer in my Wrangler Unlimited. I put in JL Audio components and coaxials speakers with a JL Audio amp. I also installed the JL Audio Subwoofer Stealthbox for Wrangler Unlimiteds with a JL Audio dedicated amp for that sub. The systems sounds amazing and its night and day compared to the infiniti system that came with my 2012. I kept the same 730N radio system and the only issue that I encountered was the JL Audio Stealthbox required additonal parts I had to order from Jeep. The Stealthbox mounted nicely and didnt take away from my cargo space in the back but as a result of removing the infiniti subwoofer and panel there were 2 pieces that I needed to add to complete the installation. If anyone decides to get the JL Audio Stealthbox ( highly recommended) here are the Jeep part numbers to the addiotional pieces you will need for the installation:

1PU12DX9AG - $80.25
1PU18DX9AD - $19.00

Interested to see these. I run a similar set-up. Same speakers with a XD 700/5 to power them and a JL 8W3. Your plan will sound great.

Hey, my eBay auction ends in 15 minutes.

The subwoofer enclosure has brand new parts, and right now the bid is under the cost of the parts in it right now.

It's got the JL 8w3 sub in it.

Like it's literally only $12.50 more then the JL 8w3v3-4 costs. And there's a brand new one in it. This custom enclosure is worth $300+ easily. It's at $212

And I'm sorry if this seems random to someone reading the last few posts, but I'm the OP, and if you read through all the posts you'll see what subwoofer I'm talking about.

Thanks Lynskey I am very happy with the set up I put together. The JL speakers are amazing and I can't go on enough about the Stealthbox. I was a little concerned about the price for it but its well worth it.
