Nothing on the tweeters...but for Dash/Soundbar these seem to be highly popular and do not need an amp ...only $125 for a set of 4
(amp would make it better though)

I added Infinity Reference series speakers in the dash and the sound bar and I think they sound great. I have not touched the tweeters yet.

I went with polk audio mm tweeters, dash/soundbar speakers, and 8' sub. sub fits in factory location. I do have 2 very small alpine amps that fit under the steering column. 1 for the speakers the other powers the sub. it sounds beyond amazing and keeps the factory look. the only modification that has to be done is the factory tweeter housing has to be trimmed a little wider to fit the tweeter. The polk tweeter has a ruber gaskit that surrounds it so it doesnt look like you even had to modifie the factory housing. bought it all off amazon.

the sub is powered by the little Alpine 500w and the speakers are powered by the Alpine power pack.

Pioneer TS-A1605C 6-3/4" component speaker system €” also fits many 6-1/2" openings at Crutchfield.com
and
Pioneer TS-A1675R 6-1/2" 3-way car speakers — also fits many 6-3/4" openings at Crutchfield.com
and
Alpine KTP-445U Power Pack Upgrade any car radio to 45 watts RMS X 4 at Crutchfield.com
then, stuff your sound bar with polyfill, throw in your favorite tunes and cruise with happy ears! I chose these speakers because they have the best dynamic range of all the "compatible" speakers according to Crutchfield. Everyone on the forum is fascinated with Infinity, Polk and Kicker, but I went in my own direction because I can actually hear the difference. I'm not knocking those brands at all. They are all high quality speakers. I've always been one to stray from the pack though!

Have you looked at the Kicker replacement speakers? The Kicker model 77Kick10 speakers are made specifically for Chrysler vehicles and the do not require a special wire harness or mounting adapters. The factory wire harness plugs right into these speakers and they sound great. I have installed them in my Jeep and they sound great.

Do you have links or model numbers you went with? I was at Best Buy last week checking out speakers and really liked the Polk's. Did you have the upgrade sound system in your JK - so you had the existing factory sub box? I'd be curious to know what type of sub fits in there.

Alpine SWR-8D4 and JL 8W3v3 both fit in the factory location with a spacer. Factory enclosure is about 3.75" deep at its shallowest.
The Alpine was designed with out doing the JL in mind. Either will sound great and look fairly stock.
No idea what the actual output of the stock amp is but judging by the looks of the factory speaker that's in there I'm going to guess it isn't much. I wouldn't bother trying to drive a new sub off the factory amp.

2x on the Polk setup. Added the kicker sub in stock inclosure, powered by Rockford fosegate amp. It thumps!

Did you upgrade the radio or leave the factory unit in? I want to upgrade my speakers but not the radio. Running topless I feel the stock radio would be less likely to be mucked with. BTW, glad it sounds good.

I'm thinking about purchasing Polk speakers for front and back.

My question is: With a factory Alpine system on my '13 will the sound improve with a simple speaker swap?

I'm planning on keeping the stock sub.
