Speaking of rims

anybody got take-off's from their rubie i need to replace my mountain rims ( well use them for off road only ) i EFF"ED em up really bad.

If they're sound enough to use offroad, they're sound enough to use onroad.
Rockrash isn't a sin or something to be embarrassed about. I say run them; run them proudly.

Now, if you ruined them by trying a ghetto paintjob or something, that's different.

There are very few vehicles that can be defined as "made for offroad". Unfortunately, the Wrangler can definitely be defined as "made for offroad" by its inability to handle well on road

That is the best thing to do, get some powder coat spray paint for bedlinning pick-up truck beds. Works well. The better you prep the surface , the better and longer in will last.

GM you should wear em like a trail badge! Like hilldweller says, run them proudly. Did the same thing to my wheels with less than 1000 miles on the Jeep, I looked at them and kinda shrugged. If it was any other vehicle I would have been pissed, but its the Jeep and there is a good story to it.

that explains a lot. I thought it seemed odd that you would be so picky over some scratches on the wheels. Hmm, tell her its a Jeep and move on?

I would scrub them with Scotchbrite pad and paint.

Spray on bed liner, Its easy and if you mess them up just sand some of and spray again, I used Dupi color.
