On the back corners you have to really pull it and work it sort of in between the sound bar plastic and the roll bar, as much as you can. Mind the wiring harness on the passenger side.

I went to Lowes and got 2.5" 5/8 carriage bolts, washers and wing nuts. Worked perfect to eliminate the flapping.

Maybe I missed it, but does the Spiderweb Shade cut down on wind?

Did you have to cut into the shade?

Nope the 5/8 bolt fit perfectly through the holes that are there for the hardtop. Just remove the Velcro and they fit right through. Took about 30 seconds.

I suppose you could do either but I like the way it looked with the bolt facing down and the wing nut hidden in the soundbar holes.

I've had mine for about 1.5 years now and love it. I've got the trail mesh that covers the front and back it really helps on the hot summer days.

Does the red cast a bright red hue on the interior on bright sunny days?

Put mine for $60 CDN and had 5 people say "I'll take it". I should have asked more...

Just installed a SWS on my JKU today. Love it. Now, with the top down I don't have to bake in the sun at a stoplight. Also installed a Supertop NX but that's another story for a different thread.

How have you guys connected the straps in the front corners. If seems like plastic shroud is in the way. Thoughts?

You connect outside the shroud and then work them under the plastic as close to the wind shield as possible.
