Spidertrax wheel spacers??

I recently purchased a 2008 Wrangler. I purchased the spidertrax 1 1/2" wheel spacers and noticed that on the box it says for off road use only. Anybody have any input on this. This jeep isn't going to be used off road much and I don't want to be worried about safety issues. I was talking to a guy with a 2010 dailey driver with spacers and 33" and he wasn't worried about safety.
Input anybody??

nah they'll be fine, from what ive heard spidertrax are the best ones, lots of people run them and ive seem many jks running them because they prefer some of the newer/nicer jk stock rims..just be sure to torque them and always check/re-torque them when you change oil/rotate tires etc

Prolly just to release liability. I'm not an expert. But my blender says do not blend solid objects on the box. Sooo. Kinda like a you can't sue us if your jeep spontaneously combusts thing. I'd get a second and third opinion if I were you. Having a front tire roll off at 75 would suck. I DO know discount tire will not work on your vehicle if you have spacers. And they know their shit.

Sounds good! I'll just make it part of the maintenance plan. That's what I'm doing staying with the stock rims. Larger tires and a leveling kit and I should be in good shape.

x2 sounds like a good plan dont worry about not taking your jeep off road lol i take mine off road as much as a i can but its not for every body, no problem in having a street jeep....also, i know people use locktite on the spacers too..of coarse the removable kind, NOT the permanent one lol and if people wont work on your jeep cuz of spacers obviously you can take them off before you go

I spent years beating motorcycles, trucks, cars and anything that rolled in the woods and pits now I prefer to beat the KTM motorcyles and go a little easier on the jeep. Still go off road with the jeep to set up motorcyle events but not beating it!

you can run them on the street.. a lot of people do.. but make sure you put locktight or something of the sort on the lugs to help keep them from backing off.. and i hope you have a jack at home because its a GOOD idea to always check to make sure the spacer is tight as can be.. id say every 1000 miles or so tighten them down.. or before any long roadtrips..
