For what it's worth, shipping and delivery was REALLY quick, too!

Hi guys! I'm really interested in these shades for my 2014 JKUR in the hot southern california sun, but I have two concerns. Note that I only want to cover the freedom panel area, over the driver and passenger.

Concern 1: The video says you have to have the *entire* hard top off to properly install the spiderweb shade. OK, I guess I can buy pizza and beer for my neighbors to help me lift the top off and then put it back on, but is there any other way to do this with a one-man team? I live in an apartment complex and don't have a hard top lift. I would also like to be able to install and remove the shade on the road, since I wheel with my girlfriend.

Concern 2: So you say that the hard top can be re-installed with the spiderweb shade installed, but is there a video of this anywhere? Obviously you'd have to take the spider balls out of the threaded freedom panel bolt holes, so....I have to buy pizza and beer for the neighbors next time I thread the spider balls through?

This looks like an epic product, but the fully understanding the flexibility of installing it on-the-go, and without removing the rear third of the hard top is holding up my purchase. Thanks in advance for your 2 cents!
I have a 2011 JKU and bought the JKini, which is only for the driver and passenger. I DID NOT have to remove the hard top. I used a metal coat hanger to feed the spider ball bungee through the other side and had my 7yr old boy just hold it in place while I released it from the cost hanger and then was able to wrap it around the spider ball....... I also used this tactic for the other two rear sound bar locations ---- Now, can someone please show me pics of the JKini still installed with the freedom panels installed? Would highly appreciate it.

Hope this helps

Also had to remove the front wind deflector after the jkini jnstalll because it was causing too much wind noise. Now without it, the seems to have helped a bit. More comfortable ride

I have the Ultra Mesh JK2D on my '13 2 Door Sport. I love this top! It cuts down on the sun and stops all the leaves and tree junk from falling into my Jeep when it's parked. I only wish I had got the trailmesh as the ultra mesh is pretty stretchy.

Look for the one that is titled "Long Beach Meet" - if you can't make it this Thursday I can let you know when we plan on going out on a trail run. It's super fun man. We usually have a caravan of 10-15 Jeeps.

Got mine yesterday and I can't wait to put it on. Old Man Winter has decided to return to SC so I have to hold off until the weekend.
