SpiderWeb shade

Anyone have any comments on this product? Here is a link:
JK4D | SpiderWebShade.com

I recently returned the Bestop Safari top because it was too much of a pain to take off and put back on. This top looks easier and less of a hassle, plus you can still put the hardtop on over it I think. Our primary reason for getting it is for a little shade/UV protection.

I've heard nothing but good things about it. Waiting for them to offer free shipping on here and I'll probably pick one up.

I got mine last Saturday but it has rained on/off all week so it is still sitting in my office. Hope to have it on this weekend.

Also, if you friend them on Facebook, you can get a 10% off code.

I'm running a Spider Shade Trail Mesh on my 2 door Rubi, absolutely love it! Last summer ended up sweating my rear off without the top on. Found the Spider Web Shade via a posting on here, ordered it and wouldn't run anything else. Parked in full sun all day, the interior of my Jeep is noticeably cooler with the shade installed.

Easy to install and you can put the soft top up with the Spider Web Shade installed.

From what I've read, you can even leave the Spider Web Shade installed when the hard top is back on also. Plus, the 5 yr warranty on the Trail Mesh is a real winner!

How do you get this code? I "liked" them on facebook. Do I need to PM them a request or something?

Also, so they ever run free shipping to WF members?

According to a YouTube video (sorry, can't find the link at the moment), you can install the spider shade, leave it on, and put your existing top back on. Because of this, I would assume that it would work if you only remove the freedom panels.

It's a PITA with a Freedom Top. I dinked around with it for hours to try and find away to make it easy to remove the panels. The shade covers the levers.

A friend of mine has one on his TJ. I rode it in once when he had it on and it was pretty nice, so I ordered one. It's in the garage waiting for me to get the hard top off this weekend, can't wait

I had heard that but I tried it and never got a code. If you belong to the other forum, you can get a 10% discount though still. (actually if you're smart enough you could figure out what the code is with or without joining)

Yeah I wondered about that. I emailed them about it a couple months ago but never got a reply (must have gone to the same black hole as my email to AEV at the same time). I'll probably just remove it before I put the hard top back on for the season or something I guess.

I also know that Jason from Krawl can get them cheaper than through spiderweb themselves.

PM him at krawloff-road.com

Funny my emails to AEV have all hit that same black hole apparently too.

Thats how I'm running with mine. I got the one that covers the front only since I took the back seats out. Does get a bit noisy with windows up and flaps, but better when you roll down windows.

Saw the vender at JeepBeach. Those things are awesome. Getting ready to buy one this week. Very good prices and you don't need to buy a header channel.

I've used mine for two years. I love it and would never run anything else. I gave away my best top after two weeks. Get it put it on and enjoy!

Best thing I have bought for my Jeep! Never comes off, the hard top goes right over it. I ordered the Shade Cage as well and have not figured it out yet though. The "spiderballs" are not near long enough for this to work. Just going to have to buy some longer ones so stuff won't fly out the back! I do LOVE the Ultramesh, as it has worked perfectly!!
