Spring Swap

Hi all,

I am going to swap out my 14/56 springs with 17/58 and probably a 2" spacer in the front to level things up. Do I need to swap out the sway bar links as well in the front, back, or both?

Dave

IMO a 2" spacer in front is going to be to much. Front will sit higher then rear. I swapped out for 18/59 and mine sits perfect, I also added 1" spacers on all four corners. I gained 2.5" total. and you will need extended swaybar links and shock extenders as a minimum, although you can drive around safely without until you get them. Next on my list is AEV drop brackets.

Edit: if your putting bigger tires on you may need to address bump stops also. There are lots of threads on this subject, just do a search. GL

Thanks! Maybe a 1" spacer all the way around like you did is the way to go. I am running Rancho 5000s and they list 0-2" lift. I wonder if I could run them as is as I just put them on a couple of months ago or maybe look for some Rubi take offs?
