Just finished installing the Springtail Solutions Tailgate Table. Easy, straight forward install with a youtube video of the install for further reference.
Happy to say it does not rattle what so ever, holds what you need it to hold and the Molle style table enables further storage for the little things you need a long the way.
I will be adding a removable black cutting board that will be cut to size from Tap Plastics.
I've got one and have set the weight of an entire case of beer on the table without issue. This is a great purchase which has really enhanced the Jeep.
Finished installing all my Maxpedition bags and installed the cutting board. The 1/2" cutting board fit perfectly. I did not have to attach it to the springtail table. All I did was notch out where necessary and it dropped right in. Easy removal for cleaning and NO rattles!

I wasn't happy with the exposed wire on the top left so I notched out the old wire loom cover and snapped it in...
Really think Springtail should start including a template for the cutting board and wire loom...just makes the product shine a bit more...details are huge in my book...grin...
I really like this set up but was just wondering if it will fit with the tuffy security deck enclosure? Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.
I sent off a rack not too long ago to one of the forum members to address that exact question, they were going to post some good pictures.....have not heard back yet.
I have the table installed with the Tuffy security deck and there is no interference. Purchased another set of first aid supplies to use the smaller bag as a first aid kit, which will be nice for camping and tailgating mishaps.

Is all that weight on the stock hinges? Referencing your tire/wheel, table, and bags/gear. Only asking because I have the table now and haven't mounted it yet, because I have a 35" tire on my tailgate, and am concerned about adding any more weight to my tailgate. I do have heavier duty hinges, but am still a bit worried.
I'm just gonna order the table/rack as I already have the bags from my old FJ springtail setup. Love the cutting board idea. Guess I'll be going to TAP to get one made.
Then all you will need to do is notch where the paracord connects to the table, the area where the index plungers strike the table and the areas where the shoulder bolts connect to the table backing plate.
The Starboard just drops in and fits flush with the tables front lip. See previous photos...above...
Will do for sure. My wife really wants to buy me something for the JUKR for xmas so it'll be after the holidays before I put on the springtail. That's such a solid looking upgrade, it'll be perfect for holding my jetboil stove and making a fresh cup of joe on our trips.
Finally installed my Springtail solutions table today. It has been sitting in storage for awhile, because I've been busy and work, and lazy at home.
Anyway, super easy install. Table looks awesome, and still needs to be broken in. The simple slam shut feature is sticking, but that is annotated in the instructions as having a possibility of happening.
I ordered the TAP plastics insert per the Op's advice and Im super happy with it. Took a few minutes to notch out the 4 areas, but got it to lay in with no issues.
I'm a bit worried about all the weight on my tailgate, with the table, insert, and 35" tire. I do have heavier duty hinges, but it still makes me nervous. I may make some simple brace for the tailgate to use when it is open and I'm using the table for long periods of time.
The parachute cord tag end that attaches to the table will fit in front of your cutting board for a cleaner look. You also need to slide the parachute cord down until the knot is snugged up to the table.
Just installed my Springtail tailgate table this weekend and couldn't be happier! Straightforward, easy install and seems solid as a rock! What a great product!
How much added weight do you think the stock tailgate can handle? I have a JKUR and will eventually go to 33" tires, table and hi-lift attachment to the tailgate. My guess it should be able to handle but not sure.
The table does not add enough weight to make it a concern as it is not overhang weight like a tire.
I hope this makes sense...
