Squeak from front?

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum. I looked around the site and searched about a mysterious squeak I am hearing. It kinda sounds like the sound your brakes make when the indicator touches the rotor when your pads are worn, but very very faint, nothing as bad as that. I have tried and tried to figure out where I hear a slight squeak or metal sound coming from, what I think is the right side. I read it may be the dust shield, the metal sound almost sounds like brakes. It does not go away when I apply the brakes, I hear it more after I've driven a while. When I pass a car, or a concrete divider on the highway, the sound bounces off and I can hear it. It's not the brake pads, the sound continues when applying brakes. I had Jeep look at it, but of course they said they don't hear anything. I had a very nice tire/brake shop look at it and said it could be the shield, they are kinda close to the rotor. The guy moved one back that was close and it seemed a little better, but I still hear it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! How can something so minor drive me nuts?!?! It's a 2013 Unlimited Sport 4 door, new, 1000 miles. I've heard this since day one. Thanks again.

The best way to diagnose a problem like is: strap a go-pro camera and drive your Jeep until you can duplicate the sound. Analyze the video and see if you can pin point where the sound is coming from and go from there.

If it were me, I'd spray the hell outta all moving parts with the lube of my choice.

Wranglers clunk. They also squeak, rattle and fart...

Your issue may be something else entirely, but keep that fact in mind.

Also, I'm including this simply cuz it wasn't an option last time I posted here.

Mine squeaked also. Sprayed a little white grease on the top and inside of the track. Squeak gone!

blankster, thanks for the info, sounds promising! I am not mechanical, do you have a pic of the area you sprayed? I would really appreciate it!!
