Squeak in drivetrain

Hey everyone,

I have a 6 speed 07 sahara.

I have noticed a squeak that occurs when I give the jeep throttle. It happens mostly while changing gears when giving it throttle in the higher gear but also while in gear when i give it gas after having let off the throttle.

It is definitely coming from the drive train (the suspension squeaks are totally different)

I'm not sure if I've described it well enough but if anyone has any ideas as to what this is, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

That sounds like the problem.

So, since I bought my jeep used, am I out of luck regarding the warranty? I hope this wouldn't be an out-of-pocket repair. That would really suck.

Well depends.

Recent question for me too

My 07 was bought with 35,500 and it was sold to me Certified preowned, with that comes with 100% parts & labor for 3 month or 3000 miles. The clutch it self is a wear item- like the breaks and not usually covered by a warranty.
You just buy the jeep?
There are I think 3 clutch related TSB's, they are not recalls so a fix is not guaranteed, just there to help the
dealership diagnose and fix a problem.
Mine is if anything just annoying -not so much a problem (yet) but the dealership told me to drive it a little longer and see if it gets worse and will fix if I want them to do so
