Squeaky 2012 Driver Seat - Already had Bulletin

My Jeep is a 2012 JKU and it has the squeaky drivers seat. Dealer says the bulletin has been done on it and it still squeaks. He verified the pads were in the seat to stop the squeak. Now hes blaming it on my lock box but it was there before. I realize taking the lock box off and taking it in will come up however, he assured me he has no other options even if it does it with the box off since its been applied. So my question is.. has anyone had an issue like this. Can I just do the bulletin myself and do it "correctly" assuming somethings wrong? Or do we have another issue or bulletin coming?

First dealer did the Nye grease fix... it didn't work and they said to turn the stereo up?! WTF! I took it to another dealer and they have ordered a new driverside seat track... No problem... diagnosed it in 10 minutes... I hope this solves the problem.

I bought a 2012 Oscar Mike Freedom Edition JKU in September. I took it back for the same squeak in the drivers seat in mid October. They put "tape" on it. All set for about 5 days, then had to take back again in Early November, I said the tape must have come off... the service tech said there was a recall on it and said they would take care of it.... Here we are early December and it is going back again Monday AM for the same squeak!! Frustrating......

I bought a can of spray lithium grease (more of a liquid than grease) from Walmart and sprayed the seat rails, attachments points, and anything else that moved or adjusted under the seat. All squeaking has stopped ! I had the squeak from 1st month untill 8000 miles and I watched posts looking for ideas untill I fixed it myself. Been sqeak free for two weeks.

my gf moved the seat up just a tiny bit so she can see a little better over the hood and it made the squeak go away. i just left it at that setting thinking it will start again, but it hasnt... maybe keep it just a tiny bit above the lowest setting?

the squeaking may actually be coming from the frame rails in the seat itself. mine is currently in the shop for that. they did the flock tape treatment and it squeaked leaving the dealer lot so i took it right back. luckily the dealer is really working with me and not telling me to turn up the radio haha.

Warranty work is supposed to repair or remedy the problem. Obviously, that dealer believes in 'one and done' attempts, so they can get their money from Chrysler and then get rid of you without resolving the problem.

Call a zone rep and see what they say about warranty repairs done by that particular dealer's service department.

I just posted a new thread about my seat! I did a search but never came along this thread. This is f*cking ridiculous!! I am losing my mind over dumb ass issues like this. I just bought a brand new fully loaded Rubicon with a 6 speed. It's all I hear when I shift....it's driving me nuts. Of course when one of the sales guys takes it for a ride....it seemingly stops. I've tried adjusting it and it doesn't help. It's such a stupid small problem that I feel bad bugging them about it but I'm at a breaking point. It's going in on Monday for another ridiculous problem I've been having with the alignment and now I'm going to bring it up in a serious manor seeing as I have this evidence to back me. I love this board!!
