It seems my Jeep has recently fallen victim to the squeaky drivers seat plague. I noticed it a few days ago and it has progressively gotten worse.
In bad conditions I like to drive my vehicles with the radio off and the window cracked a bit, so I can listen to the engine, tires, road, etc. The squeak is driving me nuts! In a 10 second span on an average road I would say it squeaks 10 times.
I narrowed it down to the rear outmost part of the drivers seat and I lubricated underneath it with silicone spray like it's nobodys buisness. I don't think it's the rails, but rather internal. I need to bring my Jeep in to the dealer on Tuesday to get the shift boot replaced, so I'm hoping that they can work some magic.
