standard speakers

it is sad that for the most part the 6.5" speakers witch are on the top bar and in the front are listed for more than 150 bucks on most jeep sites.
Look go to newegg.com and pic up 4ea 6.5 for under 60 bucks.
They work just as good as top brand and a 100 better.

I don't understand what you are saying. The stock speakers are crap and I am not sure what they are charging for those. The Kicker replacements 77KICK10 speakers are a much better quality speaker and can be had for way less than $150 a pair.

And if you are trying to say that the brands Boss, JVC, etc on NewEgg are the same quality as brands such as Kicker, Polk, Focal, etc., then I disagree.

i am saying the stock speakers are crap and going with any speaker is 100 percent better, I just think the speakers in most jeep websites are a ripp off. They are 2 way 100 watts.
So say the kicker, Polk ect is a much better than the ones on Newegg. Maybe they are i just think buying 4ea that is under $60 is a good deal for anyone who won't spend $150 for a pair. And the reviews on Newegg are pretty good by customers.

Ok, I gotcha now. Your first post wasn't as clear as this. Thanks for clarifying. I agree that anything would be an improvement. The soundbar speakers are easy to swap, but not the dash. I am wanting to make sure I have made up my mind so I only have to do those once.

I highly suggest Alpine Type R's. I got the speakers installed along with an Alpine CDA-117 head unit and the sound quality comparison is like night and day.
