Next step is to swap out bulbs with phillips xtreme and get the wiring kit from rally lights.
Why the hella H4 over other options? I needed it done sooner rather than later, I got all the parts at one place (including installation).

You're going down the right road, and now you can see where you're going! I'm waiting for a Cibie setup from Daniel Stern, already have the Rallylights harness.
I love my new Jeep, but I don't see how the headlights got through engineering. I've had a lot of cars, expensive to cheap, and the stock Jeep lights are the worse I've seen since my 6-volt Beetle.
