Steel or Alloy Wheels?

... for the new JKUR? I'm trying to decide. I like the cost and utility of steel wheels but I've read some negative press about the weight and overall quality. On the other hand I like the look of black XD Addicts. Help me out here, I'm certain there are lots of opinions here.

Whatever route I go, I'll prolly be sticking with the stock BFG KM2 tires until the budget can accommodate a lift and some bigger tires. Any issues running those on a 9" wide rim in the meantime? And -12mm is the offset I'm looking for, right?

You going off road a lot? Aluminum is lighter but can get messed up offroad. In general, steel is stronger.

whoever the Addicts looks nice on a newer Jeep

Go with the Addicts

The Addicts look cool. I have a similar Aluminum wheel and I think black is the way to go.

Steel is great for rebending the lip back into place. If u do lots of rocks. Most moderate trails aluminum will be fine. I have always used aluminum and never even got close to nicking a wheel. But I don't rock crawl.
