Talking Steering Stabilizers

Hey all, I have a 2008 JK with a 4 inch lift and 35" Procomp Xtreme all terrains. It's my daily driver and I currently don't have a steering stabilizer and was wondering if anybody recommended a specific brand?

IMO they are all alike. Buy the brand that you like most. Or the cheapest.

good luck with this one buddy, i asked the same question a few days ago, and I guess no one on this forum has an aftermarket steering stabilizer except for Dewayne.

Yeah I kind of figured........I was going to go with FabTech, that or the Skyjacker use OEM parts so as long as I don't have to weld anything its all good, I figure it should be good for tire wear or does it really make a difference?

I got a Bilstein Stabilizer with my Dodge Ram 2500 Kore Recon Kit. Wishing I could get the same one to fit a Jeep.

From what I have read, if the alignment is right, the stabilizer is not needed? I'm a nOOb to lifting and over-sized tires but read the post from yesterday that talked about alignment. Before that I didn't know that it could be done without the use of special alignment machines. Pretty cool post.

My stock Stabilizer works just fine with my 35,s. When its time to replace it im going with a Teraflex Stabilizer.

I run TF, but might as well have saved the $- it's a quality piece, and they're quality folks, but it simply isn't necessary. Also, when you smash it on the trail, it doesn't matter what you spent- broken is broken! So don't spend a lot.
My recommendation is to relocate the SS so that it's on TOP of the tie rod if you want something fancy. Otherwise, you're throwing away money for the most part- the stock one actually is pretty decent- Mark W.
