It's actually been on the jeep for a couple of months now. In the last week it's been subjected to snow and sleet storms and a 2-way 14 hour road trip for the holidays. Following the road trip, I took it through a car wash (with brushes) and also washed it with a high powered self-wash the same day. The pictures were taken after both washes.

I think it will eventually come off but I don't want to put this on permanent anyway.

Still holding up great! Any other designs?

Hey everyone, just thought I would check back to see if anyone else came up with some cool ideas to stencil some plastidip? I've been wanting to add the gator paw prints running up the side of the jeep but schedule has been crazy. I may try to free up a weekend next month. In the mean time, would love to see some other plastidip projects out there for inspiration.

I'll bump this thread as well, I was debating putting something on my blinker's.

Wanted to see what material one would use the stencil for. Thinking about putting down the jeep logo but I will keep thinking of ideas.

Bullethead: I used regular poster board to create the gator stencil.

I recently tried creating another stencil using the plastic stencil sheets that you get at Hobby Lobby but found it difficult to tell if the stencil was crooked when I was cutting out the design. I quickly lost patience with it and gave up. I will probably resort to poster board the next design I attempt. It wasn't the perfect solution but unless you invest some $$, I don't think there IS a perfect solution.

Anyway, my 2 cents. Good luck and please post any plasti-dip projects you end up stenciling.
