I would like to get comments from others in regard to front bumpers if they like the stinger or bull bar and why? And I saw some of the videos but not sure I will be flipping my jeep over forward but you never know, right?
Go with whatever look you like. I'd put money on saying that 99.9999% of the people that have stingers will never use them. If you like the look, get it...the end.
If so, I prefer bull bars (or grill guard) over stingers myself. Unless you go all out modifying your ride, I think the stinger screams "Hey, look at my bumper... I'll finish the rest later."
A bull bar/grill guard can compliment a Jeep in many different stages/levels of modification.
Also, parking with a stinger (especially in a garage) can be troublesome.
I got a bull bar because I figured/hoped I'd never need the stinger. I liked the bumper I got until I saw one on another jeep that I like more and might help your decision, its a bull bar but instead of how mine is strait up it has a forward angle similar to a stinger so its like a happy medium.
Where I live and what I do (or don't do) it has been the ARB Bullbar. We have Deer, Bear and Large animals in general around here. As has been mentioned in other threads, the Stinger is front end, deflection, flips, etc. - not a big concern personally but a bull bar would/could be a help.
