Stock front and rear bumpers

So I have those bumpers with the grey/silver middle parts and noticed that there is a possibility of taking those off. Has anyone done this? Is it relatively easy to do or does the whole bumper need to come off. How is it underneath? Last thing I want to do is go take it off and it doesn't match up. Btw it's a 2013 Sahara unlimited.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Why did you buy the Sahara then? Just curious....not attacking you in any way...

The Sahara comes with a bit more options that I liked wasn't going to turn it down just because of silver parts on the bumpers. It's not a huge issue as I'm actually looking into aftermarket bumpers but not for a wee bit.

Just remove the torn on the cover. They'll come right off. Of course I did it on bumpers that were already off the Jeep.

I changed my silver ones out for the black ones. You have to take the rear bumper off to take off the back one. You can take the front one off without removing the bumper though. Just take out all of the little screws.

Did you have to order those black ones? Do you have the website by any chance?

Thanks

Yep, I got mine off of eBay. The best part is that I sold the silver ones the next week on ebay for the same amount. I shipped them in the box the black ones came in. I think it was from Steve White motors. Look for his store on ebay.

That looks nice! I'm surprised more people don't paint them or plasti-dip them the color of the jeep

No. Picked up a new Sahara take off locally. $30 at the body shop, and we have a different look. If I decide I don't like it. Then I'll just take them off.
