Stone Guards?

It's a bit strange to me that RR makes the steel mesh type for TJ/LJ/YJ, but not JK...
7" headlight, 3" fog, square brake light... The first kit I found for these (not RR) were actually for Mini Cooper! And they have a set of 6 that look nearly identical to the RR ones for $54. It begs the question why no one makes these for the JKs since it would seem reasonable that JKs going off road would be susceptible to stones and other debris flying up at them. It's not that the 'euro' style looks bad, but that it doesn't seem functional. I would find it hard to believe that a stone or some other such item flying up to the lights on a highway wouldn't just pass by the euro guards and break the light anyway. Not to say that the steel mesh renders it un-breakable, but it does seem to afford somewhat more protection. I even called RR and got 'Yeah, those aren't for JK' - DUH! I can read, too, moron. The question is - would they fit. And I get - 'well no because it says TJ/LJ.YJ right there' ... wow - this guy should work for Dell.

Seriously, is there any reason why they wouldn't fit (aside from the retainer placement for the hole locations)?

Well, you can order them and see if they'll fit. If not return them for a refund. I have the Mopar guards for the rear. I'm not that concerned about the front but if I did it, it would be like the stone guards I have on my YJ. Then again, they're not specifically made for a JK. If they don't market them for a JK they're not going to tell you they fit even though they might work out great. If you decide to experiment let us know.

kjk - good point. While I haven't found detail measurements, I should just get measurements for my lights (and try and find the measurements for the other model) and just order them. I have Delta Quad headlights and Delta 55 fogs, so I really want to try and protect them as much as possible (both pairs of lights together cost about $500). I think I'll order them up and see how to get them fitted.
