Storing hard top outside

Hi! Looking for input...I took off my hard top for the first time and have to store it outside. It's under a deck, sitting flat. Should I put a tarp over it or partially over the front? My neighbor said it can get moldy... Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

If I had to store it outside I would sit it on plastic then put a blanket over the top with the trap over that.

I'd put some wood beneath it to keep it off the ground. If the tarp isn't wrapped around it, it might have enough airflow to keep it from getting moldy.

I sgtore mine on my apt. patio out back. I have it on 4 small moving dollies and a tarp over it. It won't get moldy and stuff with the air flow getting under from the dollies.

when I stored mine outside, I built a square out of 2x4's with bolts facing up to go through the top's bolt holes. It kept the top from flexing. I also had a tarp under it and over it

Set it on 2 saw horse to keep it off the ground. I think covering it is a bad idea because of the mold and you don't want a place where mice can set up a new home.
Put some 303 spray on the top maybe every 2 weeks or so.

I keep mine on a few milk crates over gravel in the back yard. After a few months it gets dirty in side but I just clean it with some simple green and water and it is good to go quickly. Plus it is very easy to clean the top of the roof when it is that low to the ground before I put it back on.

I have stored 2 of my previous hard tops outside. The first one spent 3 summers sitting in my back yard, next one sat on a couple of 2x4s in the same spot. No tarp. Gave it a hose-down in October and put it back on. Never an issue.
