I just hacked off the ends at 3.5" (I think) and then rattle canned the ends after some brief sanding. The exposed sheet metal will show, so paint it black if not going with the caps.

I think it was 3.5". I looked up directions for one of the end cap kits and used the measurements it said. Don't do less than 3.5" because there's some bolts and other hardware at that point that you won't be able to cut through.

No way back now lol. I was shock for 10 seconds now I like it well now I can save up for my bumper will I have the stubby looks haha I like it ALOT.!

Very nice!

Stubby looks funny with skinny tires. I have 285/70/17 and that's just too skinny. Otherwise I would've joined you all...

Does are 32.7/11.2R17 not that skinny.

Has anyone done anything to fill in the gap/seam between the VDP end caps and the bumper bulges? I was thinking of some kind of caulking and then bedlining the whole bumper. Thoughts?
