summer doors for JK

Quick question

I love taking my doors off in the summer, but the JK factory doors with power windows are nothing like the older models, such a pain and heavy as hell

#1- I don't really want the best top style zipper windows, I've seen sliding top doors for older models but not for JK's

#2- I've seen summer doors sold with factory paint jobs but again those are for older models not JK's, I'd prefer to order the doors in white than having to bring the doors to an auto body to be painted

Anyone have a link for JK summer doors without vinyl zipper windows preferably factory matched color?

It doesn't even have to be the traditional 2 piece summer door
An extremely light weight single piece door with a crank window would be much preferable to the factory power window doors I have now

Any suggestions?
thnks,

Those are the ones I found
It doesn't really say, but I'm assuming they are zipper windows

I saw these
Bestop 51787-15 - Bestop® Upper Door Sliders for 97-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ & Unlimited - Quadratec
but they aren't for jk's

If someone has the best top doors and thinks they are awesome I'd like to know
but really I was hoping to find some more options

so far it seems like the best top doors are the only things out there

Search for Bestop Element Doors. Also Rugged Ridge is coming out with some in May.

A lot of people go with no doors or tube doors.

Elements from bestop or mopar factory halfs are pretty much the only options afaik. Zipper windows are the only option too, afaik. No way to make a two piece roll down window. Gotta be tough to deal with zipper windows

I wish I lived in an area where I could leave the doors off for the summer
but I live in new england and don't have a garage or a car port

last summer I wasn't able to keep the doors off for more then 4 days

thanks for the heads up on the RR, maybe I'll wait a few months before ordering

I have a set of the bestop doors for my '10unlimited. I really enjoy them. They are pretty basic right now, but like the idea of their changeability should my needs/wants change.

I grew up in NE and know the score.

Will give you a tip about taking the doors off. When you disconnect the strap on the drivers door, the door has a tendency to fly open and smack the body with a mirror. If you drive down the road and see a JK with a dent high on the body on the drivers side, that's what its from.

I do not believe you can get glass uppers for a JK, from anyone.

All our upper doors for JKs are zippered, for sure.
