Sunrider Top same as Soft Top?

Does anyone know if the Sunrider Top comes standard on the 08 Unlimited Rubicon? The brochure seems to indicate that it does, but I test drove one tonight at the deal and it just had the hard top and the dealer said I would have to order the soft top at a cost of close to $2K? Is the sunrider top the same as the soft top? I am a bit confused about this.

Thanks.

The sunrider top is a fancy soft top that can do a sun roof sorta thing. Heard it has an issue with leaking though

Ya i'm lucky so far with my 08 ( w/standard soft top) i bought in april, its been raining 90% of the time here it seems and not a leak yet...though i love the little waterfall that happens when you open the door to get out! lol

Mine came with only the hard top, basically, with some finangling, my soft top was included though I did pay, we did it the goofy dealer way though. However, I think the price was about 1200, not 2G.

I have some questions regarding the different tops and the doors. I thought the sunrider top was for the half door style, the top I have is for full doors.

Another question, will the soft top work with half doors? Hubby doesn't like the topless look and the full door. I only ask because I don't have time to be switching out doors and though if down the road I could order the half doors and just switch out doors for the summer/winter when I switch out the tops.

Haven't even switched out my top yet, weather here has been not so great, lots of storms. I'll probably switch them out this week.

Standard soft top on the BASE X is non sunrider

S option X,Rubicon or Sahara with a soft top and anystyle door gets the sunrider top

The panel over the driver/front passenger folds back

order a hardtop and ya dont get a soft top unless ya order the dual top package...Gary

I got the dealer to install the softtop as part of the purchase price, and I have the freedome hardtop - so I got the best of both worlds.

All you have to do is buy a sunrider soft top.
