Superchips

Soo I've been weighing my options on a superchip flashpaq for the 07-10 jk. I know someone selling one for 150$. Now would this be justifiable for what I do? It's my DD 50% and my offroad toy 50%.. I have tires 275/65/18 with a 3 inch lift 4.10 gears and lots of other goodies.. Anyways my question is what would be the benefit to this little tool if any at all? Thanks guys! Jared-

Yeah I'm probably gonna pull the trigger but what do those things really do? Do they make you go faster because that's what I always had the impression a performance chip was meant for.

Do you have automatic transmission? If so, buy it. I love mine. The change in shift points, torque management, and throttle response is well worth the money, IMO.

I don't have one, but since everybody seems to be ducking your question, try these links:

JK-F thread started by J-Pop, with a good initial review and over 100 pages in the thread:

Superchips Flashpaq for JK, Initial Impressions

I have a Superchips programmer tuned in my Wrangler.

I have the 93 octane setting running 91 octane fuel and a bottle of octane booster.

It's been so long since I've had the stock tuning I can't tell if it's better or not.

Haha thanks bro. And yeah redneck it's an auto. With the shift points can you get her in the 6k's rpm cause it will always shift at 5.5k. No that I wanna redline my wrangler lol just curious after doing some more research the only real benefit would be gas mileage am I right?

I know it say 07-10 JK/JKU, but does it work the same way on a 2011? I haven't seen anything saying yes or no. Just curious if anyone out there with a 2011 has used one yet?

So if the software on an 11 and the engine on an 11 are the same as on a 10, why doesn't it work? Not that it is at all applicable to my 12, I just like to know stuff

Good question. I think everything is the same but the ECU has yet been cracked.
I don't know if there is even a SC available yet for the 11
