Superchips - change cooling fan engage settings

Has anyone used the Superchips programmer to change (lower) their cooling fan start temps? I don't like that it doesn't kick on until 226 deg. In my experience if you are working it hard as it hits 226, it will get even hotter until the fan has a chance to catch up and cool things down. I don't like temps that hot. I'm thinking this might be my solution and setting the fan to kick on at 220 or so instead. Anyone actually done this? Am I on the right track or missing anything? Any downside to this? I'm not interested in changing the engine tune at all. Can you set the fan engage temp without changing anything else? Thanks.

Have you tried running the AC... typically that kicks on the fans.
