It only confuses people even more that don't know what these products do.

To be fair, they're supposedly going to be releasing an update for the flashcal that gives it all the functions of the flashpaq.

I have the Flashpac 3870 and talked to a rep and you can either lock the front or the rear, but not both at the same time, and the controller must remain plugged in when using that option. He says they are still working to correct that function (hopefully to both at the same time without the controller being plugged in.) He also indicated they may be working on eliminating the 30 mph speed release for the lockers/front sway bar which to me would make sense considering the wheel speed vs. vehicle speed required for snow and mud hill climbs.

I thought superchips was coming with an update for the flashcal that would be able to do all the new flashpaq update could do. I read it in their forums a few months ago, don't know if they went through with it.

These things are worth their weight in gold in my opinion. I love driving a manual transmission, but bought a dodge pickup in auto so my wife could drive it. I hated the weak shift points factory set. Made the HEMI dive into OD gear and made it a slug. I sold the Ram for the jeep and got my manual transmission back and was ready to get the flashcal until i saw the flashpac came out for the 14's. for an extra $100 its a no brainer. For you auto guys, it will make a tremendous difference! Motor power gains were great too. I hope the results are similar for the wrangler programmer!

That's weird. The should merge the two products into one and eliminate the confusion.

Anyways, I really enjoy the boost in performance this tune gave my JK.

I am however disappointed that is offers nothing to firm up or change the automatic transmission's shift points. That is a REAL bummer.

Bottom line is this is a GREAT mod for our JKs!

Do you have the flashpaq or flashcal? The flashpaq has auto shift adjustments that make a huge difference.

I have the Flashpaq and I don't see anywhere to mess with the automatic shift adjustments. Maybe I'm missing it somewhere....

Has anyone who has the FlashPaq also had Diablo Trinity/Intune? I'm wondering how the 2 compare?

You can raise the RPM's that the up-shift occurs?

Bump on this, how are people liking this tuner? I got a 2013, i'm looking to run it on 87 octane tune and looking to get rid of the throttle lag and any mpgs gains would be nice even though jeeps are literally bricks on wheels.

Been running the Flashpaq 91 octane tune since November without issue. I love it. I drive a mile to, and a mile home from work each day and run around on the weekend - same 12-15mpg here which is no worse than before. I wanted it mainly for the crappy stock throttle response. Very satisfied overall here. 2013 Unlimited, 3.73, automatic.

speedometer calibration

I have a 2014 jk with 2.5 bds lift and 35" tires. I went to calibrate speedometer, jk has 4:10 grs changed tire size with tuner to 35, speed way off ended up with tire size 32,75 now speed calibrated with gps but seems crazy since tires are 35. Gear setting is still 4:10

Anyone run across this before???????
running 93 tune setting
