Does anyone know how to get the side windows to fully go into the door surround channel? It doesn't seem to want to go in all the way. I have left it in the sun but still nothing.
My passenger side goes in all the way, but I have to pull the top of the window forward while pushing it int he channel. The driver's side has never fully went in, and now the window is a little bent up there so it will likely never go all the way in.
My suggestion is to just pull the top of the window forward while pushing it in the channel. It will learn to go in there.

I had the same problem. Here's how I got it to work:
1. Unlatch front
2. Remove rear window
3. Detach sail panels from tub
4. Zip window and inch or two
5. Work that edge into the channel on window frame
6. Tuck window into tub
7. Maintain that channel is pushed all the way into window frame
8. Reattach sail panels to tub
9. Zip side window and velcro
10. Attach rear window
11. Latch front
It's been getting easier and I believe I won't have to detach the sail panels soon. But removing the window and detaching the sail panels made a ton of difference to get some give to tuck that channel in.

I just got my replacement windows for my premium soft top (tinted) and cannot get the top of the window into the channel near the door either. It's as if the stitching it too thick there.
Mine did that, too, but I was able to fix it pretty well. My roll bar brackets have 3 holes for the bow to attach. Originally, I had it on the furthest out hole and the window channel did what you see. I moved it to the inner most and the channel stayed in but the back of the top seemed a little less rigid. Moved it to the center hole and looks like it works best.
When I go sunrider, it tends to come out just a smidge but I just adjust it back when sunrider closed back up.
This is on a 2DR for what it is worth.
