Suspension

What's the difference in the standard suspension vs. the heavy duty on a 2012? Is it just the shocks??

Gas shocks and generally "stiffer" springs (performance), versus softer springs and hydro shocks (standard).

more fuel on the fire.

I just looked at 3 jeeps, and looked at the Springs..
Im more lost than I used to be.

2 door rubicon 14's front and 54 in back
2 door Sahara w/ tow pkg 13's in front 54's in back
2 door stripper sport/16'wheels 14's in front 54's in back

Seems to me that the tow pkg sahara and the Rubi would have heavier springs than the stripper sport... But thats not what I saw on these 3 sitting on the same lot last night..

That observation has been noted many times. I honestly think they have a monkey go get the coils off the shelf and whatever he brings back goes on.

Yup. That's why you'll always see me post that there is no such thing as "Rubicon springs".

Looks like I'll forget about ordering heavy duty suspension and get aftermarket stuff if I need to.
