Suspension

Jk sport 2 door 33" with 2.5 body lift which makes no difference to me, what would be the best 3" or 4" on suspension, what brand and type? Any opinions? I mostly off read at sands but all week on road, i would like one day travel to rocks

Are you going to remove the 2.5'' BL and then install a 3''-4'' lift? And what size tire do you want to run?

You plan to remove this BL thing right?

Ooh sorry.

There is no need. You can run 35 with 2.5-3"
37" minor trimming.
4" is enough to run 40's for Christ sake lol

Pics....?

People typically run no more than 1-1.25 of BL.
The Jk can fit a 33" stock so BL's are not as popular with the Jk.
Besides, the tires add clearance not the suspension, really is no need.

I would remove it.

I doubt you've got a 2.5" body lift.

Let's see some pics of where the frame meets the body, some pics of the coil springs (including any "hockey puck" type things you may see on top of them), and some pics of the shocks.

My expectation is that you in fact have a 2.5" suspension lift.

That hurt to read...

"Imma" suggest that you read up on some suspension basics. Use the search function, it'll help - I took the liberty for you:

4X4 Suspension basics: Know before you lift. - JeepForum.com

http://mysite.verizon.net/res108eps/...ion-basics.pdf

http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/sus...ry-105845.html

Basic jeep suspension rundown - Car Forums and Automotive Chat

Roll through all that and you'll have a much better feel for how your Jeep operates and what you may want to do to it. Plenty of other topics on lift kits and modifying your Jeep as well. Welcome to the forum.
