Suspension on a 2010 Islander HELP!

I recently bought a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Islander edition and I am in love but I think it is time to start looking into some modifications.
I am new to Jeep Forum, but it looked pretty cool and helpful so I thought I'd try it out

I want a little suspension on my Jeep, between 1.5"-2", and I don't know the best way to go about this.
I was told to do spacers but I have heard some negative impacts spacers have, so I was wondering if a lift kit would be my only other alternative?

I hardly know anything about spacers, or lift kits, ect. so please inform me and give me some advice on what I should do

If you want the best possible ride it is usually best to go with coils (not cheap coils). If you are mainly for looks or on a budget go with coil spaces. You can always go with coils later and sell the spacers and recoup some of your money. I know many people that are happy with just spacers and wheel the shit out of their jeep. You need to answer a few questions like whats the largest tire size you plan on going with. You can go with flat fenders and a 2" lift and run 33'-35" tires just fine. I went with 2.5" TF coils with 35" tires ,then added Bushwacker Flat flares. If you go with 2.5" of lift or taller plan on getting a front adjustable track bar if it is not part of the lift.

Look no further.. HURRY. Rancho's rebate is about to end. People are grabbing this lift off amazon and with the rebate are very happy.
