Tampa Jeep Dealers?

I've been trying to find/order (since there are very few around) a jeep in the Tampa area. I have picked out the jeep options I want, but the dealer WILL NOT budge on the MSRP price. I know about TL and have signed up..but I know many of you are getting 2% below INVOICE without Tread Lightly. Can anyone near Tampa recommend a dealer that's willing to work with me? The dealer I went to was Courtesy on Adamo drive.

Hey,

I have not bought a jeep locally in years. This is because they never seem to give a good deal. I am in Jax and I had to drive to Orlando and Miami before to get a decent deal.

This last time (April) I went to Beck Jeep in Starke and got a FANTASTIC deal. My salesperson was a woman named Tammy McCormick and she worked pretty hard for me. It is a tiny dealership in a tiny town, but they have a bunch of locations that are all over and I think combined a huge dealer. I got about 6K off of my JKU when I bought. I can get you her contact info if you want.

Would be a drive, but may save you thousands

I have an order in with Ferman Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge Tampa up on 54. They said they would go along with the TL pricing.

I would suggest asking for Pat. He's fully knowledgeable about the 2012's, TL, and all that, and I think he's put in a few orders for people.

Also, I tried North Tampa Jeep and they lied saying that there was no way they could order the 2012's yet. Avoid them.

Then I tried Jerry Ulm. I was supposed to meet with one salesman but got tossed to another who didn't know much. They were supposed to have so-and-so call me back to place my order but they subsequently forgot about me. I guess they're not interested in my business.

Ferman was the third and final dealer I visited. They've been fine so far, though you may have to prod them at times.

Jerry Ulm on Dale Mabry (near 275). I ordered mine on Tuesday, Tread Lightly pricing and all. Talk to Bob Potter (Internet sales)

Did you get the 1% under invoice or did they offer you more?? And did you have to haggle any? I went to Jerry Ulm and talked to an older fella there (on the floor) and he wasn't too interested in trying to get me into a '12. Especially since they have 30 2011's sitting on the lot.

Yeah, Jerry Ulm never bothered to call me back about ordering. I gave them the specs and all. They're a bit full of themselves.

Just talk to Pat over at Ferman at Cypress Creek. Good guy. Knows all about the '12s and ordering. Won't give you any trouble. He's familiar with us crazy jeep people so he knows how to handle everything.
