Teraflex 3" Kit?

I'm in the market for a lift for my '12 JKUR, and have narrowed it down to the AEV 3.5" and the Teraflex 3". I'm just a college student on a tight budget, but I only want to do a lift once, and do it right. I would like to upgrade to 35s as soon as funds are available... That said, I've consulted the "Lift Review" thread and saw that a couple of yall are running these, but I just have a couple nagging questions...

1). What is the "true" height to the TF 3"? I've heard they're notoriously generous, with some people getting anywhere from 3.5" to 4".

I'd love to hear The experiences of anyone with either of these lifts.

You can clear 35's with a 2.5" lift. It would be much cheaper than either of the lifts you mentioned above. You should also seriously consider replacing your front driveshaft with a lift of about 3" and up, which is around $500 if you do the install yourself.

Just a thought.

I got the Teraflex 2.5" lift and it will work with 35" tires. Lifted the front a little over three inches. According to the factory if you do the 3" lift, you will have to replace your front driveshaft. Call Teraflex, they are very helpful. Real quality stuff. Good luck.

Ive got a 3 " tflex, no driveshaft needed. It has settled enough and is comparable to an unsettled 2.5" lift.
