Teraflex 3" lift

Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum and the Jeeping community. I am narrowing down which lift I want to install and keep coming back to the Teraflex. Does anyone have any experience with the 3" lift?

I plan on running 35s and replacing the bumpers and adding a winch so I was thinking for clearance purposes I would be better off to step it up from the 2.5" lift.

This will be going on my 2010 2dr sport.

Thanks in advance.

Also how does this lift compare to the RE 3.5" as far as quality and ride?

Cheers,
Mo

Sweet.

I've read nothing but good things about teraflex.

Did u replace any of the flex arms? Or any other components?

Looks like on quadratic they recommend front track bar and lower front flex arms.

I have the 3" teraflx lift with teraflex control arms and skyjacker adjsutable trac bar. This setup is great. Decent ride on the street. With 32" tires has no rub fully flexed.

I know a few people who run 35's with a 2.5" lift with no clearance issues with proper wheel backspacing. With a 2.5" lift you have a lower center of mass, which equates to less chance of rollover on and off road. Also with the 2.5" lift your stock driveshafts will last longer, especially on the 2-door. Just things to be aware of. Sometimes I wish I had the 3" lift, other times I'm glad I have the 2.5". I'm running front lower control arms and both front and rear trackbars. I didn't like the idea of the rear trackbar drop bracket placing more stress on the stock bracket, so put the adjustable trackbar in the rear to be rid of the drop bracket.

Yeah I have read that once you go ~3.5" on a 2 door that your rear driveshaft life expectancy is greatly reduced. I am prepared to replace if need be to something stronger when the time comes.

I have been waffling between the 2.5" and the 3" lift.

Prolly safer to do it all right in the first place and get front and rear track bars plus the control arms.

Love my 2.5 Tereflex. I run 35's with a after market bumper and winch and have no rubbing issues what so ever. Just had to trim the rear pinch seam and rock rail.

I heard that happens more so on the 4-doors and not much on the 2-doors.
