teraflex 3rd brake light relocate with "hinge"

I wanted the teraflex tailgate hinge but did not like the taillight option-- so with a little patience and paint I was able to alter their 3 brake light kit to work with the carrier -- I am posting this so others may take this option - I wanted to be able to use a trasharoo for wet paddling gear after I get off the river

very nice. i was gonna pick up the teraflex this past weekend as i saw one on cl for 350.00. the only problem is that my wheels have centercaps that i don't intend on removing. too bad it was sold. i wouldve modified it the same way as u. great job.

Nice mod. I did not like the bracket at first either. I love the center cap on my wheelset. Thought about the brake light mod that uses the 2 open holes in the spare wheel in order to retain the center cap.

I didn't want to cut my light up either considering I had the "tick" and head issue -- wanted to be able to go back stock if needed. for someone that doesn't know much it still looks somewhat stock also

The new bracket is much smaller and much better looking. I happened to have a couple people in the local club giving away lights, so I snagged and cut one of those instead of my stock one. I just recently added the JeepTweaks cover to it.
