Teraflex front TB install

We installed the TeraFlex Monster front adj, TB, and new TF's 9550 shocks to replace the Bilsteins.
Along with the the LCA's- I hoped this would give me that "better than stock" feel that people always brag about. The LCA's helped a lot but i still was not happy.
I had some bump steer going on. I read getting the front axle center might help it.

I will have more of an opinion with miles but ... So far so good

Install was simple once we figured out the adjustment is the same as adjusting the drag link, and you don't have to disco the bar to do it.
By just turning the sleeve, the body will move left or right. Once centered, tighten the 2 bolts on the sleeve and done.
Well... So we thought, Since we centered the axle back to stock (center) the steering was now off again. First/2nd drive set off the ESP. 3rd attempt to center went well.

Shocks-
I like the 9550's better so far. So much for the Bilsteins, I hated the ride with them. The TF shocks seem closer to stock but still a bit more firm. I am not hitting the roof every pot hole like with the Bills.

Its was a good night And of coarse, Thanks Glue for the help and sorry about dropping the wrench on your head

Getting all ready for those 35's

I did the 2.5 TF coil lift with OME shocks. Good ride for me, didn't want it too stiff like my 07 was. Didn't have to change the TB didn't even need the relocation bracket, rear was centered without, or at least close enough I couldn't tell.

I never checked the rear. I should since adding 1" spacers.

Nice! I also have the Teraflex Monster Track bar, mine doesn't have any bump steer anymore so I am a happy camper. Next I need to replace the rear trackbar with the TF as well

Hopefully your bump steer/ride problems are solved.

On another note, it sounds like glue risks his life every time he helps you.

Def feel a difference. I had my tires down to 30 psi with the Bills.
Was able to put 32-34 back and still feel a difference. Still more firm than stock but tolerable.
I still can't figured it out. I don't know a singe person that has anything bad to say about the Bilstein 5100's.

I wonder if they are tuned any different when paired with a lift (coils) I bought mine separately?

I doubt it. They'd have to be affiliated in some way, or actually offer a package with the bilsteins. (Northridge does it, but i'm sure thats their own doing)

The AEV kit I just ordered has Bilsteins tuned specifically for the coils,

Looks great Ken!

What are you going to do with your Bilsteins?

I'm in the same boat as you, I pretty much feel like I should just replace the lift kit I have

HEy Ken, looks good.

I think the Bilsteins give my Jeep the Mid Size truck feel I like, where it kinda bounces. I had a frontier, and Sierra. I am sure it could be better with different shocks, but I don't have the wallet to keep experimenting (Ahem!)

The TF's still are stiffer than stock, but I no longer need to wear a helmet driving around.....

LOL.

Irony is I have an iPhone and I use the app. But it's super inconsistent
