Teraflex Leveling Kit ???s

Hello.

I want to level out my GF's 3-door JK CRD. And 1-2" of lift to fit 33s would be great.
It's her DD and she does only light offroading.

It looks like the Teraflex leveling kit is what I need.

But I have some questions before I order it.
Does that work with the stock shocks?
Does it really come with quick disconnects?
Are there any other things I need like longer break lines?
Do 285/75R16 tires really fit with that kit?

Do I need longer sway bar links?
Or would it be enough to install 2" spacers in the front and 1" spacers in the rear?
IMO the stock links are very short.
Shipping to Germany is very expensive and making my own spacers on an engine lathe could be cheaper.

Thanks for your help.

You do not need a leveling kit to run 285/75/16s or 33s on a JK. You may need spacers if to avoid rubbing if you plan to mount them on stock wheels. The 1.75 kit from Teraflex is a great BB and is fairly easy to install yourself. You do not need ABS extensions for it. You will need a torque wrench to bring your sway bars and wheel lugs back up to spec afterward. That kit will also work fine with your stock shocks but if you ever plan to change them or upgrade them at some point, it would be easier to do it now during the lift install then later.

I already have some wheel spacers.
At the moment I have 265/70R16 on stock rims but I want to buy some 285/75R16 for the summer.

The JK CRD is about 1-1.5" lower in the front. That doesn't look good for me.
And IMO 1" more would look better with the tire size I want.
That's why I'm interested in the Teraflex leveling kit.

Do I need longer sway bar links in the front?

I drive Jeeps for nearly 20 years and have all tools that I need. But it's the first JK I want to modify.

And do I really need the longer links?

Making my own 2" front and 1" rear spacers on an engine lathe would be cheaper than the shipping costs of the teraflex kit to Germany.

Before TF leveling kit,

After
http://www.wranglerforum.com/attachm...5&d=1305661761

No 33s yet.

The TF leveling kit comes with all you need as far as leveling the jeep.(longer sway bar links, 2" front and 1" rear spacer, couple bolts) It does not come with QD links. You don't need longer brake lines, or different shocks, or different springs... If you make the spacers yourself you could save yourself some money and just order longer sway bar links but you're gonna wanna make sure that you know what you're doing....It'd be a bummer to have a spring shoot out of hits home while driving around. hope that helps.
