Hey, I have the leveling kit and was wondering if anyone is running this kit with better then stock shocks. I do a lot of highway driving and wanted to get a better shocks then the stock sport ones so that the Jeep is more composed during high speed driving over bumps and imperfections in the road. I was looking at the Fox 2.0s but Bilsteins cheaper price and that lifetime warranty won me over. Cant believe Fox only has a 1 year warranty. Thanks!
I do. Teraflex spring leveling kit and 5100's. Handles nice. Doesn't ride soft "like a Cadillac", though I also have e-rated tires. But it's not spine jarring by any stretch. A little stiffer then stock.
We put Bilstien shocks on our hard top 14 JK with TF BB (factory springs). The handling has marked improvements over all speeds and terrain types. The ride is just a little "stiffer" but with the improvements in handling are worth the difference. If your Jeep is a 4dr it will ride softer than a 2dr but retain the better handling feel.
